How do I move out of self-storage?
When renting a self-storage unit from us, we require seven days notice before you decide to leave your unit.
The move out process can be manually conducted online through our “pay your account” page, or in-store by one of our friendly staff members.
What do I do before moving out of my self-storage unit?
- Make sure all remaining debt is paid off before leaving.
- If you have excess credit on your account, make sure to enquire with a staff member before leaving in order to get a full refund. However, not all credit refunds are possible and are subject to the originally agreed-upon deal. For example, we will not refund if you decide to break your lease early after accepting a sign-up special such as “10% off for the first 6 months”. Refunds can be applied electronically or via cash.
- Ensure that your storage unit is the way you found it upon sign-up. Otherwise, a $50 cleaning fee will be enforced.
- If you cannot give a precise move out date within seven days, please let us know beforehand, and also once you have officially moved out on the day. This will ensure we do not make any further monthly charges to your account.
